I'd say it's pretty good, the story is really detailed and the structure of the story is great \ one thing about the series is that it's generic, a "chose one" trope with a love interest, magic, an everlasting battle, and a villain, pretty old. But I'd still say it's a good book because it handles these tropes uniquely and the story is enjoyable, I'm giving it a four-star, to say the least :)
