The Original Pancake

This is a really cool game but jeez some of the controls just don’t work. I will press one button and it will do something completely different or I will have to press the button several times to do the action. This has gotten my killed several times because I can’t heal, or I can’t dodge, or I can’t use the wire. I will have to press it five or more times until it finally responded. Then there’s the hit boxes, they are ridiculous. I’ve dodge out of the way of attacks and they still hit me even tho I’m am very clearly out of the way. This happens a lot with piercing attacks when the thrust their tail or sweeping attacks. I’ve never been so frustrated with a game before, it’s frustrating because I know I’m making dodges and trying to use different items but the game flat out stops those from happening. It is a pretty game with a lot of interesting items. This isn’t the first Monster Hunter game I’ve played but it’s the most annoying.

A lot of bugs, doesn’t care about its surroundings, car controls bad (non stop flipping, even when I flip it over it’ll just keep flipping). I had to exit my game because it wouldn’t let me out of my car. I think it just got a lot of good reviews and hype because it’s a Batman game. People are so into the superhero’s right now they don’t care about actual quality over quantity. There have been a lot of games and movies coming out about super hero’s that are so bad I don’t hear anything good about them, and this adds to the lost. Don’t get me wrong I love super hero’s, my family plays all the games, and watches all the movies and animated movies and such. I’m not talking out my a** here. I liked the previous Batman games I thought they did a good job they just didn’t take enough time to work out the bugs. Then there’s the use of the bat mobile...do I need to say more. It’s basically Batman they should it “Batmobile Simulator” because it’s all you use. I was so so so disappointed in this. I just wanted a good game to play I was excited and now I’m disappointed. Then there’s the games reaction time. I can press the buttons while they are at a distance and he either will do nothing, or do something random like throwing something when all I wanted to do was glide. I checked my controller and even switched to my new one and it does the same thing. The camera angles are bad I can barley see what I’m doing in right spots and Every 3-5 time you play you are on your wrist communicator. It’s just...so sad to see this. I didn’t want to say it’s this bad because I don’t want it to be this bad, but the sad truth is....it is this bad.

Honestly it just fights the player the whole time you loose hunts all the time when trying to get materials, it gives you a time limit which is ridiculous, if your on a mission to hunt something it can run off the map and that sucks for you because you have to start it all over even if you’re about to beat it if it runs your left with nothing but what you broke off of it. Everything takes as long as possible if you have a small window to beat something the loading takes up a lot of time, the tracking is pointless because it leads you back and then forward and at the end of the hunt you get one minute to collect your items, but wait no you don’t it has to circle around you and take up over ten seconds of that one minute so it just kills your time. This game is fun at first but once you try to hunt half your hunts will leave the map and leave you frustrated and want to uninstall the game. You just waisted your time tracking a monster and trying to kill it for it to leave and your time just got wasted. So good luck if you buy this game hopefully you have better luck then me and most of the people I’ve asked about the game.
