This movie's reviews should have nothing but 5 stars. A lot of people are saying that this movie has horrendous secrets, and yes, I will admit that's true. But, all of these were caused by accidents (like for example, Margaret Hamilton catching on fire) or they simply didn't know what harm that the makeup could do (such as the asbestos). The songs and pace of the movie couldn't be better. The effects of this movie aren't even outdated (and keep in mind this was made in 1939), and they aren't horrifying to say, but they can get freaky, especially The Wicked Witch of The West's cackle. All in all, I rate this 5 stars, and from a scale from one to ten, I would rate this a ten. If people are going to give this movie a 1-3 star rating, than give a good explanation rather than just saying "Its boring.", or, "This doesn't teach a good message."
Edit: The hanging munchkin was a hoax, it was not real. Second of all, the movie has really good messages. One of them is that even though you might get scared by something, doesn't mean that your not courageous (Cowardly Lion).
