"iT WaS sO UnReALiStIc!!!" That's the point. Hobbs and Shaw is supposed to be the opposite of John Wick. Instead of realistic and grounded it is fun and ridiculous. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham absolutely kill it in this movie. This movie was full of funny dialogue, great cameos to real life, and a great villain. Overall I loved this movie. It was so unrealistic it was comical at times, which made the movie even better. The reason that I don't have a problem with it is because the ENTIRE movie was unrealistic, it was very consistent. If I had to describe this movie in 3 movies it would be Iron Man John Wick and Avengers. This movie was fantastic and very fun, as a MOVIE it is a 6.5/10, as a GOOD TIME it is a 10/10. If you are looking for a great time and aren't a picky movie goer, then this is the movie for you. GO WATCH HOBBS AND SHAW.

I honestly really liked this movie. It has a great cast and John Favreau has a really bright future in directing. I never thought a movie about a chef would have me so interested, but here I am, interested. The only problem that I had with the movie (and this is nitpicking) is the camera work on some scenes, it felt very repetitive, but that's what you expect from a relatively small budget movie. 7.5/10

Shazam is a DCEU game changer! Seriously, it took what made all of the other DCEU movies horrible (poor character development) and did the opposite. It is a light and fun movie, but not too campy like Raimi's Spider-Man. It has dark elements, but not as dark as Batman v Superman, it has a perfect tone of a young boy who learns to be a man, a hero. Billy Batson is a kid who you can root for, you want for him to be the good guy, because his origin and his past are sad. The villain, you wanted it for him too, but he just couldn't overcome his abusive past, he felt alone and the 7 Sins took him over. The movie has really high quality comedy, I was surprised, it was almost on Marvel's level of comedy. It wasn't forced, because it is exactly how a 14 year old in a superhero's body would act. This movie is spectacular because it had a great director and an excellent script. It is by far the best DCEU movie, I hope they can keep this path up. I am actually invested in the DCEU now. Overall, I give this movie an 8/10, excellent superhero movie.
