~IMPORTANT REVIEW~ (also spoilers).
I loved this movie. Great acting by the two main characters (father & daughter). The connection between the two felt so real. I loved the setting, traveling through the woods on foot not knowing where their next temporary home would be.
Just trying to survive while bonding with his daughter and keeping her safe.
There’s so much more i would like to say about this movie.
I think people are use to big hollywood action films with big distractions and special effects, especially a post apocalyptic setting.
Those types of movies are equivalent to trying to keep a baby entertained with bright colored flashy loud things.
This movie is so refreshing, something different.
More of a personal story rather then a story about everyone else.
I think the movie gives you just the right information to piece together about the world they’re living in.
The ending was unsettling yet gave me enough warmth that they will be okay later.
The two older men who were killed were good i think, he trusted them, took some advice. He realized his daughter can fend for herself, and that the road they kept walking was a never ending road.
I like that i have to use my imagination to fill in small details, makes this movie so exciting.
Some people can’t stand not knowing every in depth detail, I personally think those people are boring, crazy and have ocd.
Also this is just a movie so chill, for the reviewers on here, stop bringing politics into everything. Review the dang movie and move on with your life. This movie has nothing to do about politics.
