Henry Cavill is the perfect actor for this role but the time line is so convoluted and hard to follow, especially as the show adds and changes so much that it further confuses the story line. Gratuitous sex that does little to enhance the story, meandering episodes. The original story was compelling and intelligent. What happened?

I did not enjoy this book as much as I had hoped. The characters are so one-dimensional, even considering that none of them are who they seem to be, and many are posessed or reincarnated. Everybody has been betrayed, nobody trusts any body, there are zero civilians in this world. You must side with somebody at random. All words regarding the environment are completely irrelevant. I felt as though I were reading an Anime movie about warring demon overlords. Nobody matters, and the plot is unimportant. Half of the cast dies, the other half lives. The end.
