This show gave me a severe case of post-series depression. Now I did not expect my world to go so dull just from a TV series. Especially since I am a devout Eastern Orthodox Christian. I guess the show just filled a void in me for those 18 episodes and the moment it finished was the moment I still continued to starve for more.

This is a documentary but all I see is Hollywood’s attempt at hijacking Egyptian history to black-wash historical figures who have been proven to not be black. Cleopatra isn’t black and should be played by a greek woman. Not only that. The show portrays her as the typical perfect Hollywood Mary Sue when in actual history, cleopatra was flawed and only cared about her own political ambition
