This programme is better than the Gaelic sources I used when starting some time ago. Relating pronunciation with the spelling at the same time links speaking and hearing with seeing words. That is very important for those like myself are used to remembering vocal words with their written version, and vice versa; especially awkward as Gaelic differs from Latin based languages such as English - a double 'translation'. My only issue is that I couldn't find the mentioned 'transition' between Gaelic and English on the BBC SpeakGaelic website, so I'm having to write the words plus their phonetic 'stresses'. Perhaps it's just me, or it hasn't been installed yet.
