Personally I think it's really good there are a few things that I think we're loose ends but other than that it was really cool how they incorporated many features of the mario games into the movie like the mario carts that was awesome and the fact that the action and combat revolves around the power ups is really smart and the characters are decent the way they all interact is really natural and doesn't seem forced or awkward as well as the relationship between mario and Luigi is sweet and you get the feeling from the start that they really care about each other also peach she is a girl boss character done right she is capable but will always accept help and try to build up others Over all this is a good movie and is worth the time
