This book will stay with me forever as Tom Kettle will haunt my dreams. The third person writing kept me enthralled and I read the book in two days and was moved to tears in many scenes. Sebastian Barry is a brilliant author, and i highly recommend this book. I know I will read again this time more slowly savouring every word.
