Evidently sub par -- except when compared to, say, Seizure and The Hand -- , this is an entertaining film thanks to Douglas and Mulligan, the twists, the cameos and the bikes (again, just a shy glimpse at the sports cars). Best if Shia LaBeouf is mentally replaced by a bearable actor and the chick flick ending for an otherwise macho story is altogether ignored Sad to admit but you can safely skip this one.

It's many things: Interesting, smart, cute, sassy, whacko... Not a dull moment, that's for sure. And several casting surprises / cameos. Unfortunately Seinfeld is a very poor actor, basically reprising himself. But it's an all-round brilliant production. Don't miss it.

Dances with Wolves meets Dallas. If you know of a better series, let us all know. Kevin Costner is a National Treasure. And Kelly Reilly -- complete with evolving car choices -- is an absolute gem. Clearly the Emmys can't be trusted.

Five stars need no explanation. It's like Suits from the 80s. Douglas and, yes, even Sheen -- both of them -- are at the top of their game. Pity Young and Stamp don't get as much screen time as Hannah and sports cars are sorely missed, but otherwise optimal -- 'cause nothing is perfect.

It's imperfect, like most movies, but definitely worth a watch -- maybe two. Respectful homage to the great Hitchcock. Convoluted -- if partly implausible -- and riveting plot. The whole cast is excellent, particularly Basinger and Thurman, and it's full of aesthetic details, like the apartment, the Saab, the champers glasses... No film buff should miss it.
