Possible spoiler at the end. Wanted to like this, the plot description is great, execution not so much. None of the characters are actually likable except the two non main character police officers in town. WAY too much allusion to family drama without giving us anything to grab onto, it’s so drawn out. It was hard to get thru the middle, i was bored and feel like it could have been better with 5/6 episodes vs 8. The scenery is beautiful but I really didn’t like the constant filter & lighting, I know it’s a choice but personally found the constant orange/red lighting & darkness distracting without adding anything to the story. Also the end - I don’t know how they got away with this but has anyone seen the movie Se7en? If this episode & se7en were songs this episode would be sued for copyright infringement (not sure how it works with plots like this). Maybe they’re all too young to remember that that’s where the idea came from but I’m not. Amazing twist then, not so much this time around. If you haven’t seen se7en highly recommend you watch. 3 stars for acting and a good plot idea.
