Much like the original TV show, it's gripping (gripping as in you want to know what happens next), and like the original, I suspect I will feel unsatisfied by the end (not yet released).
The games themselves are probably the least interesting part of the show. It is interesting to watch the social dynamics, the judgementality of people and how they attempt to justify their actions.
Of course, as a time-limited TV show, the producers choose what content to show us and maybe "invent" the conflict, but it is still interesting.
The social experiment meets its height during the dormitory tasks when quiet prejudices get put on display, and simple misunderstandings get overblown.
I imagine some sociologists would love to study the complete set of recordings.
