Of course is dated but deals with some interesting issues and the hero Jim Bowie does not win every fist fight/is not always correct in how he analyzes situations. One episode especially caught my eye in they dealt with the issue of Andrew Jackson expelling the Cherokee from Georgia after gold was found at Delonega. Somewhat unsatisfying ending(Jackson tells a Cherokee man who wanted to assassinate him for lying to his people "I had to or you all would have been wiped out because of the GOLD!" Somehow that not only pacified the Cherokee but he went on to follow Pres. Jackson!! But that they even dealt with the "trail of tears" in 1957 was interesting.
