Kudos to both Maiwenn and Johnny Depp for creating such a lovely film. The costumes and sets were astounding and so picturesque. The obvious chemistry of these two epic performers was so lovely and endearing.Absolutely love this period piece . It was so enjoyable to behold.

It's a terrible artsy movie .the critics love it so that speaks volumes. Phoenix is the only redeeming factor in this entire movie.the directors dark brooding backdrop throughout the whole movie eventually creates a sense of redundant boredom . I only gave it one star in order to review it other wise it would have been a minus 10. Truly awful and boring.
