it’s got potential. i cringed at first as a diehard HIMYM fan, but after continuing ten minutes into the first episode, i saw it start to grow and change into its own thing. HIMYM was funny because of the slightly exaggeration of characters and it’s at the time accurate “simple” but clever humour that played to a multitude of audiences that we find nostalgic today. this could definitely be something we watch in the later years and laugh about how we were now. i’d love to see it grow, maybe be a bit more body positive with their range in cast and try and delve into some harder topics that are relevant today.
