This movie has such a great premise but horrible execution. The idea is very interesting but there was no focus. It seems like they wanted to do too many things which resulted in none being fully fleshed out. The story could’ve been much more focused and well done if they’ve selected a focus or one or two major themes. It just seems like they had no idea what they wanted to accomplish. It’s very disappointing and dissatisfying since it could’ve been so great. The casting of Alicia Silverstone was brilliant and, as everything else, not used properly. So much potential was wasted. There is an appetite for this sort of reflection among the millennials but it needs to be done right. The actors are good, it’s an ok movie that doesn’t require much attention on your part so you can be on your phone or talking to your friends.
