It's an action heavy spy movie drawn out to a series. If I'm scoring this on what it is trying to be then it's top marks as far as I'm concerned. Yes it's a bit cheesy and yes a bit obvious. It is frankly ridiculous in many places but that seems to me to be the aim here. The show looks very good. People, effects, fight sequencing most of the backdrops are stunning and here I am waiting for episode 6 like I'm already a fan. I don't think I wanted to be but it didn't give me any choice. The Russos just kind of go all in so you get a bit caught up with it all. To pull all of this together I think you are going to be okay if you like the Russos work or like action spy movies or just fancy either of the two leads. Recomend for a Friday night and a bottle.

Certainly needs a grown up mind as there are strong themes and some heart wrenching moments but that is what pushes this Marvel movie above most of the others. Recommended but be prepared to have your emotions flipped about.
