The perfect summer movie, filled with beaches, an existential crisis, a high-speed chase, and lots of pink. The Barbie movie gives a light-hearted innocent character such a dark and real struggle, watching a childhood toy slowly lose her mind was not what I expected, yet, it was executed perfectly. Greta Gerwig is a mastermind, Margot Robbie is brilliant, Ryan Gosling's comedic timing was spot on, and the entire cast helped carry this movie. Something I really liked was how the music also helped the story move along, the soundtrack was almost like an actor. All in all, it was such a fun movie with the right amount of seriousness and comedy, would 100% watch this again!
