I dislike most rom-coms because they promote unrealistic expectations of romance and often glamourise toxic relationships. This film was totally different. It is realistic but still charming and the ending was a breath of fresh air. It manages to be funny but still carries enough emotional heft, and I think it brilliantly portrays the real struggles most people feel in and after relationships. The story, acting, directing and feel of the film were all excellent.
I actually only put this on to watch in the background but was quickly drawn in and ended up shedding a few tears.
