The Sisters Brothers is a wonderful combination of great writing, acting, and directing. It is supremely entertaining and engrossing. The cast is stellar and stands among some of the best work of each member of the cast. Led by Joaquin Phoenix, John C. Reilly, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Riz Ahmed this cast turns in a great performance from beginning to end. The awesome (albeit brief) cameo by Carol Kane is icing on the cake. I can't recommend this movie highly enough.
