Taking Band of Brothers as the benchmark is a hard level to meet. Add the fact that air bombing is a bit dry compared to land combat, and it becomes harder. After the first episode I worried that Masters of the Air would be a disappointment. However, I began to follow characters as their stories unfolded and was swept along. In the final episode I found myself crying tears of relief, joy and happiness, mainly because the characters were so compelling. Top class acting and individual storyline saved the day.

Always been a fan of Clive Cussler novels since the 80s. This is the best adaptation to the big screen to date. Like a cross between an Indiana Jones and Bond mimic (but mimicking's a great form of flattery).
