it just didn't click with me like it did with others

reading this book was a strenuous activity because the author goes way too fast and i had to read some parts of it again and again to understand which character she was talking about as she jumps from one thing to another without actually making a clear differentiation in the changing of the narratives. i understand these were mrs. dalloway's own unfiltered thoughts in her head where she ponders mindlessly about others as a result of her loneliness and loss of one's own self but it was kinda difficult to keep up with it.
