If you are looking for excellent livestock and some of the best depiction of true horsemanship you will not be disappointed ! The character Roy Goode is a true " Horse Whisperer ..However to my understanding of the history horsemanship and potrayal in this series came about in the 1960's not the 1870's & 1880' s.The plot is interesting and the acting is superb. Lots of pretty faces and handsome men.
