Quiet, understated acting by the lead actors was a pleasure to watch. The screenplay is very strong and brings out the predicament of financial ruin parents are facing from loan sharks they turn to in order to discharge parental obligations being demanded by aspirational, self-seeking progeny that doesn't much care about the quiet desperation in which their parents are hanging on in life, as they go about discharging the crushing debt obligations assumed to provide their children with a career platform overseas.
A great slice-of-life movie. I strongly recommend viewing it.
"Vadh" is not plain hatya/killing, it is the slaying of a demon.
