Sorry, to say but this has nothing with Rumi or Shams at all. Its nothing but fiction. Personally, i think the book destroyed the narrative of Sufism at its core. If you are coming from background of romanticism or atleast read the book thinking of some romantic story, you must be fascinated by all those lines and quotes. Yes, thats good, but if you really came after reading a bit of history of shams or rumi, it sounds nothing but fiction.
