One of my favourite films of all time. Beautiful cinematography, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner are fantastic. At first glance The Arrival is seemingly a simple Sci-fi about discovery and translation. As the film progresses however it becomes so much more, exploring the importance of unity and how life is much more than ‘beginnings and endings.’ Engaging very clever plot, certainly doesn’t get its 94% audience score for no reason IMPORTANT: make sure you watch from start to finish as it can be confusing to follow otherwise
