Douglas Murray’s must read is a timely summary of where The West finds itself in the age of CRT ( critical race theory . Mr Murray thankfully bookends with a warming conclusion of voices like those of TC Williams ( a personal hero along with the always entertaining T Sowell ) and H L Gates J. I can’t think of a more timely Christmas gift ( let’s rebalance and spare the X this one round .

Excellent read for novice or expert . Now that a lot of us initiates are tuned to one of the excellent podcasts about ( me - I’m presently an Empire follower ) it’s becoming a habit to buy a topic related book. I found this one a wonderful introduction to the era and life of Catherine and her favourites. Potemkin has been a subject of another book that lies here waiting to be opened but I’m glad I started on Virginia Roundings well researched and written opus . Enjoy .
