It's interesting that people become infuriated with athletes for expressing a belief or opinion, and then those same exact people turn to an online platform and do the same exact thing. It's a sport played by human beings and human beings are allowed to express their opinions. If you like football but don't want to be exposed to the opinions of those that play it, then turn on the game after kickoff. It's so incredibly easy. If you love football, then watch the football game. Refusing to watch football because of pregame activities is like refusing to eat at your favorite restaurant because you don't want to drive there. If your love of football is deeply tied to pregame commentary and what happens during the national anthem, then you've probably been missing the point of watching for quite some time. Football is amazing and the athletes that play the game are incredible.
