The film runs just over one hour, and still feels like it desperately needs trimming. Single worst example: a shot of cotton fields, taken from (what is obviously) the passenger window of a car. Nothing happens. Literally NOTHING. But the filmmakers still feel compelled to let the shot run for.... I’m guessing three minutes, though it seems like longer. I kept saying to myself, “...and CUT! and... CUT,!” all to no avail. Don’t waste your money. (And if it makes it to cable, don’t waste your time.)
