I loved the movie, I teared up during the opening narration. I came to it for Michelle Monahan, but came away more apprecating Casey Affleck, A fine actor, at least 100 times better than Ben. In the end, it may take me awhile before I watch another MM movie. She disappointed me that she wasn't on Patrick's side. She wanted to leave Amanda with Jack Doyle, for me kidnapping a child makes him a moral retribute. 'Sandwiches and outfits'.. shhesh Not saying Amanda's mom was much better, but two wrongs don't make a right. It woulf have been impossible to stay with MM character wondering where she would comprise in the future, I''d like to see the do a reboot, 15 years later.
