I would like to give 4.5 stars.
Only thing will tell you that please don’t compare it with Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. They both are too good in their own ways. That one was original adaption of Shri Valmiki’s Ramayan and this is director’s version of story telling of the greatest saga.
Coming to point of this film, 1 star for music, 1 star for acting, 1 star for the directors justification to the title Adipurush, (I mean the way he explained the meaning of the title is awesome), 1 star for the unqiue modern way of story telling of good vs evil and half star for vfx and colour grading. I mean i would definitely cut half star for making it little bit darker. I think 2d will be better option to watch.
We all know that what actually Ramayan teaches us that good always win over the evil. And this film actually makes us understand why good always win over the evil in short spam of time. And why Shri Ram and Lord Hanuman is worshipped so much.
Don’t go for false allegations on the film that it’s not made in the original way and vfx is not upto the mark and all, trust me this movie is worth watching for it’s modern way of story telling of what actually good vs evil fight looks like.
I won’t lie that it is a perfect 100% movie, there are some flaws like the interactions between the vfx characters and the actors and at some places where film looks too dark but at most points it’s look awesome (soecially the fight between Jatayu and Ravan with that giant bat). It is the best the makers have made and it is a worth watch for every money spent.
And I don’t know why so much negativity is there to compare it with Ramanand Sagar’s Saga. It is over 78 episodes and this is a cinematic experience of only 3 hours. And it can’t be explained in such time. But still the point is that it justifies the battle of good vs evil.
And in the end Jai Shree Ram. Jai Sita Ram.
