I loved it! Yes it was sad and morose in places, but it depicted the elderly as they are when they come to hospital. Usually scared, a little ashamed of the lack of independence and angry as a result of their situation. Everything he said at the end was true. I worked through Covid, and it was hell. The NHS is being sold off bit by bit and after 25 years on the wards, it’s nothing like it used to be. The film was actually a lighthearted depiction of a geriatric ward, if you saw it for real you wouldn’t want your relative to be there. But relatives just don’t care these days. They can’t wait to offload the responsibility onto someone else.
