Don’t believe the hype. Just because it’s a bunch of Kubrick clips strung together doesn’t make it a Kubrick film. Nobody whose opinion we're supposed to trust is ever introduced properly so at a baseline it’s difficult to care about what’s going on. Some of the theories are interesting to think about in a freshman film class kind of way. Just watch The Shining again instead of this and talk about it with someone.
