I don't know much about these people as they only show what they need to. But reading Spare, if it is accurate, is a window into Harry's life. And I don't know how anyone can read it and not feel sympathy for Harry. It also makes it clear why the media machine is relentless against him and his family as a way to distract from father and brother. That's just sad. A good book, definitely worth the read.

As a fan of the books this series is shockingly bad. They absolutely butchered characters for absolutely no reason. It makes no sense, why is Rand so rude and sleeping with someone he is not betrothed to, why is Perrin married and kills his wife, why did he even have a wife, why is Matt just soo weird. Yes a TV adaptation doesn't have to be perfect but this is absolutely pathetic. For such a budget this is just a huge no. If I could rate less then 1 I would. And as a black feminist, atleast I think I am, not everything needs to be made woke. The female characters in the books are powerful without being the Dragon. The book is about a balance between male and female. Its okay to have male heroes and female heroes. This definition of woke is exhausting. the Dragon could never be a female. Watched with my husband who hadn't read the books and nothing really makes sense without books to help make sense. Please don't bother with a season 2.
