My reason for writing this 1 star review is to concern different aspects of the game that are either extremely unfair or downright annoying. First off, new players are unwelcome, usually finding themselves in a situation they don't know how to react to or just being plain bullied by some of the higher levels. The game lacks the ability to help new players understand some of the concepts in this game. Although having a tutorial to cover the basics, it isn't enough, and many will find that the first few days playing will be confusing and annoying. Secondly, the game is solely multiplayer, no single player modes exist and this can be frustrating. Many players in sea of thieves do not seek out peace, so many battles will be fought between you and other players. But losing a battle can result in losing all progress gained, the game gives no mercy when losing treasure, all you can do is look at at all your hard work gone while your enemies gloat over it via messaging. Although some will argue that it's a pirate game, of course you can steal from others, I will say that yes I understand this, but an only multiplayer game will lead to toxicity, and you can find many toxic people in this game, it's pretty ironic how the game was supposed to reduce online toxicity and yet it is a major source of one. Anyways I would just like to say that if you want to try out this game anyways, do it. Just know that these are the things you will face when downloading Sea of Thieves.
