Robyn Wall

This film explored a style that is a very very hard thing to pull off. It has the confined feeling of solitary characters, and tension that builds. Gyllenhaal portrays his character beautifully, making you feel submerged and present in his scenes. A gripping movie that I recommend to anyone who is looking for a good suspense experience.

I saw Split a few years ago, and went into watching Glass with no knowledge of what Unbreakable was about. I do recommend this movie to psychological movie lovers. It is very good at portraying the characters as unstable, and keeps you questioning everything. (I do not know if the conditions such as DID and others are portrayed accurately so I cannot comment on that) You’re okay if you want to watch this movie without seeing Unbreakable and Split, it just might be a bit confusing at times because there isn’t much background explanation and there are some brief flashbacks and mentions from the last movies. Overall a pretty decent movie :)

I personally felt this movie was only made to be a cash grab. The story line was rushed and not thought through, and it completely contradicted everything the past two movies had worked towards. The character design was sloppy and the writers relied on you to know who these people were, even though they were practically nothing like the characters in the past movies. By the time the movie was done, I didn't feel like I had gotten anything from that besides more respect for the other two Grinch movies. To put it simply, it didn't have to be made, and it shouldn't have been made.
