Great strory of the resistance ... once you realise the heroine's mother is only in her 40's it's hard to get past just how much of a wet week she is.... but highly recommended.

Loved it. Some reviews say the main character lacks 'character' but that's because she's focussed on other people's characters and is almost 'just' a narrator. Such a good story. Honestly the best book I have read in ages.
