The beginning started off interesting, I was very much looking into this "murder mystery" but as the story continued the writing itself felt like it was in the best words I know how to use 'choppy' and slow paced, the descriptions were very detail-but with that being said there was child abuse that was written with too much detail that was upsetting (It made me angry and want to burn the book for a moment.) And when the book ended it felt abrupt like "The End" and that was all. This was my first time reading from this author and I don't think I will be reading another one of his pieces again.
