The movie was good, the acting was better than average, lead by Sophie Turner who’s rendition of Jean Grey/Phoenix was better than her predecessor. The problem I think people had was it wasn’t fun. It’s not supposed to be. It’s a heavy piece of the X Men story and it’s not something you really expect going into a comic book movie. Here’s a tip going into a movie. Sit back and watch, and if you feel something so hard, you’re probably right. But if you go to a movie to knit pick every aspect, you’re not going to enjoy it.
