I have seen the film many times.... it established both Jaishankar and CID Sakunthala .... a thriller, a good one, may be even the first modern thriller/spy-detective movie in the Tamil filmdom
also, the song Nanathaalae is mesmerising ....
a wholesome entertainment ....
