Author names parts of aircraft carrier different names supposedly so that readers can understand. Like, the "island" becomes the tower, the "wardroom" becomes the dining room and "knots" becomes miles per hour. As a Navy carrier pilot this really cheapened the whole book (and the author) for me. These are not difficult concepts that could'nt have been explained in a couple sentencees. The idea of a book is to learn new things and be taken to a new experience that is different than your own life. Spoon feeding is for babies and 4th graders. This is not the author's audience.

To Deborah Norville: You may want to continue to broadcast from home 100% of the time. I have been stunned by my perception of increased beauty as a result of the lighting, camera angle and makeup you are utilizing from home. It creates a softer beauty as opposed to harsh studio lit beauty. It accentuates your shiny lips and a magic sparkle in your eyes. If, or when you go back to the studio I recommend your lighting technicians and cinematographers use the same lighting, camera angles and make up you've been using at home. Make your stunning look a permanent part of the show for the future.
