With only minute differences, every episode is virtually the same.
A patient is admitted to the hospital, a doctor thinks it’s something simple and uninteresting, House thinks differently! House takes ahold of the case, does controversial treatment and makes controversial decisions. Sometimes even having his subordinates break into the patient’s house to look for clues. Every one of his colleagues disagree with him, every single time, miraculously he always turns out to be right, and at the last moment, saves the day!
The basic idea of the show isn’t bad, but the overwhelming similarity between every episode, combined with the insanely implausible idea that even after hundreds of cases all of his colleagues disagree with him every time, not to mention his decisions that are not just controversial, but highly illegal, makes the show difficult to watch.
Also, House is an insufferable narcissist, and he’s insanely rude to everyone. All the time. It’s just too derivative and implausible to be enjoyable.
