It’s always a hit (Unbreakable, Old, The Sixth Sense) and miss (Signs, The Happening, Knock at the Cabin) when it comes to M. Night’s movies.
First off, this one started off with good storytelling and plot set up. Bautista has really elevated his acting skills, but Aldridge (Andrew) stole the show. Great job!
Then the movie fell flat with predictable scenarios and deaths. What sealed the deal (in a bad way) was the fact that there was no twist or “OMG, no way” moment. 4/10 for me.
