Just been watching this on ITV4 I think. Just awful. Connery is so limp as robin. Wetter than a wet weekend in bognor Regis. No chemistry between the cast what so ever. Ray Winstone gives his usaul terrible cockney hard man image. Truly awful. I've not anyone who thinks he can't act. But he wasn't as awful as he was in Sweeney. That was truly abismal. The camp friar tuck is like a really bad impression of a bad carry on character. Maid Marion, made of wood would be more apt. The baddy, he was good, as the villain of the cast. Music was excellent, which propelled this well above the pile of cack it is.
