one of my favorite games of all time, The Last of Us Part II has stunning visuals, with props to the lighting and attention to detail and an amazing soundtrack that perfectly suits the aesthetic the game is going for. it forms a deeper connection with Ellie and Joel, individually and regarding their relationship, characters from the first game that original fans know and love so well. though controversial plot-wise, I think the developers and creative minds behind the game had their own reasons and a vision for what they did. after all, they had years of it in the making. I have my own opinions I won't state, but no matter the divide between players and critics, I think we can all come to appreciate the story and characters The Last of Us Part II gave us, one I'll never forget.
