Spoilers. Devastated with how bad the writing for this is, especially coming off the back of something so perfect in the initial Last of Us game. Trying to be like Game of Thrones/Walk-ing Dead with an immediate game changer on the most beloved character followed by the introduction of playing as the very character who you're made to hate almost immediately is just BAD. So bad. Then the storyline is swept up in so much social inclusion that it loses the focus that Ellie is IMMUNE to the virus and is potentially humanity's last hope of survival/beating the virus. It's a big kick in the face to every Last of Us fan, I cannot wait to forget all about it, especially after playing for DAYS as a character that you literally designed to immediately hate. I couldn't watch her die in any other way possible after purposefully doing so so frequently. My first ever 1 star review on anything!
