This is one of the most powerful books I have ever read, & also one of the most disturbing books that I have ever read. How Cristina Rivera Garza could take such a personal tragedy and write about it so beautifully & eloquently is beyond me, but I’m so grateful that she did because I learned a lot about femicide & violence towards women & in doing so, I feel that I could be more helpful to other women. I will, never ever forget Liliana.
