I'm not that old but I admit that after a play is over and Booger M starts talking, I usually mute the sound until the next play starts. And often Booger is still talking after the ball is snapped for the next play. Someone characterized the commentary well when they said tedious. What I wouldn't give for Chris Collinsworth on Monday Night. Alas, I will continue to watch, but will only listen to about half the broadcast. Tedious/half muted football is better than no football.
