I love Gary Cole. He is a great actor. But the story could have explored a bit more into RW motives. Even though nobody knows better that himself psychologists could have helped develop more details about his character and background. Also the wife in the movie doesn’t look remotely alike to his real wife. They could have done a bit of a better job developing her character and customs. Based on the facts we heard around here in CA and the pictures we see firstly she looks older than him and secondly she gives this vibe of a neglected/unsatisfied wife. Apparently, they used to spent a lot of time apart. That says something.

It is amazing! I fell in love with it since the first episode. It was a big surprise. I wasn’t expecting much because I didn’t know the cast very well other than James Carden and hadn’t seen much of his acting work before either. But he was phenomenal on the show and the writing superb. It is official! Brits are the BEST at comedy and romance. The show truly pulls the audience in and one almost feels as part of the family. A sweet escape I must say. It’s sad it only has 3 seasons.
